Insomniac Nightmares

I’ve managed eight consecutive days of material; this makes me feel special.

It probably shouldn’t, but given my health problems, general malaise, and having to do this either early in the morning or very late at night to avoid interference, I like to pretend that’s an accomplishment.

The question is, though, is it ugly? I feel like it might be. I don’t have much ability to spruce things up with images and the like, and end up hating/scrapping what I do make, so it seems kind of… dull. Just white-on-black walls o’ text. Not really that appealing, I’m sure.

What do you folks think? Should I drop the “30 day in a row” challenge and spend more time making pictures and doodads, or is it fine as is? Does my blog layout need a refresh? It’s been a while since I tweaked the whole thing, maybe that’s just a little ugly and needs adjustment.
